There are many things to love about Westbank‘s 188 Keefer condo development in Vancouver — from the high-end home features to its historic Chinatown neighbourhood. But in the same vein as a sports highlight reel, we’d like to single out four qualities that we’re particularly impressed with here at BuzzBuzzHome, starting with…
Standing at the gateway to downtown Vancouver, the 21-storey 188 Keefer tower will boast incredible views of the downtown Skyline, North Shore mountains and False Creek. And where better to enjoy these vistas than from the building’s communal rooftop? This 2,500-square-foot landscaped amenity space will boast a barbecue, large dining table, outdoor fireplace and seating area, community garden plots and children’s play area.

188 Keefer is just a quick walk to Vancouver’s famous seawall that will take you past BC Place and into downtown. Or if you’re heading south, to the heart of Southeast False creek where you can enjoy Science World and all the new restaurants and brew pubs at Olympic Village.
Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden
In 2011 National Geographic named Chinatown’s Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden one of the top 10 city gardens in the world. The tranquil urban getaway is practically 188 Keefer‘s next door neighbourhood.
188 Keefer takes its inspiration from the vibrant Chinatown neighourhood it calls home. Designed by renowned architect W.T. Leung, the brick podium and precast concrete cornice are characteristics of architectural expressions found throughout Chinatown, while the taller tower component is symbolic of the new emerging architectural form in the area. And art lovers will enjoy the tower’s concrete wall will be home to a public art installation by accomplished Vancouver artist Ron Terada.
To learn more about the project and its fast-selling homes, visit the presentation centre at 190 Keefer Street between 12pm and 6pm on any day except Friday.
