Most model suites tend to be housed in a presentation centre, but Streetcar opted for a different approach when creating the models for TWENTY, the final addition to its Queen and Gladstone district. The two model suites were designed in lofts at 8 Gladstone, another Streetcar development, to make the space more representative of the units to come.

We toured the rooms and were instantly hit by the ultra-vibrant hues, bold designs and daring interior pairings. The eclectic yet elegant rooms are a bow to the Queen West neighbourhood that they’re located in.

No need for lights during the day — the floor-to-ceiling windows brighten up the entire loft.

Talk about bold design. The loud wallpaper is only a backdrop to three ornate mirrors over top. While it borderlines gaudy, we’re fans.

Welcome to suite number two, where you can wave goodbye to ho-hum entryways forever. The pops of red are the perfect addition.

We love how the room features a vibrant floral mural on half the wall. It wakes up the room more than any shade of paint, and it’s easier!

With its modern metal chairs and light fixtures, this contemporary kitchen is a work of art that also offers plenty of cooking space.

We wouldn’t mind sitting on that couch while sipping our morning coffee. The earthy tones complement the bold wallpaper, and add a touch of warmth.


The spacious balcony also provided a great view of the construction that’s underway at The Carnaby, the sister condo to TWENTY.

The seven-storey loft will house 128 units, which will all have access to an abundance of amenities, like personal work studios and an on-site Metro grocery store. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a reason to leave the property with the selection of ground level boutiques, a two-storey fitness studio and new urban park.
