Downtown Montreal is mixing it up: L’Avenue Condos, the 50-storey tower set to rise across the street from the Bell Centre, will be getting an on-site Provigo grocery store.

The Broccolini and Carttera Private Equities project, situated at Rue de la Montagne and Avenue des Canadiens, will be the new home of the open-concept, 25,000-square-foot supermarket. Imagine the convenience of being able to dash down to the shop for whatever fresh produce, meat, cheese or bread you may need.

The new Provigovo will also be a boon to the the over half a million workers, students and tourists who visit downtown Montreal every day.

“As a mixed-use urban development, L’Avenue will raise downtown Montreal’s livability and quality of life. With Provigo nestled within our wallsresidents will enjoy an urban lifestyle with all the convenience of a neighbourhood filled with local services,” said Broccolini Chief Operating Officer Anthony Broccolini in the news release.

The area is already bursting with great amenities with the Bell Centre a big perk for the city’s many hockey fanatics. There’s also easy access to multiple Metro stations and the condo’s central location means the waterfront, a plethora of restaurants and the cultural hotspots are all within reach.

Aside from the great location, L’Avenue residents will enjoy a number of on-site amenities including terrace space, pool and cabanas, media room, fitness centre and so much more.

Over 75 per cent of the tower’s 325 suites have already been sold. Suites range from 500 to up to 5,300 square feet.
