It’s no secret that real estate investors in China have a penchant for Canadian real estate and it’s this appetite that has motivated In2ition Realty to open an office in Hong Kong.
The Mississauga-based brokerage made the announcement this week that it would be opening the office — described as a state-of-the-art presentation center — in Hong Kong in October. In2ition has had staff located in Hong Kong since December 2012 laying the groundwork for the expansion.
The move comes on the heels of the slower than average sales numbers being reported in the GTA new homes market for 2013. According to the press release, Debbie Cosic, In2ition’s President, believes there is a need to provide alternatives to In2ition’s developer clients.
In2ition Realty will be the first Canadian new homes sales and marketing agency to establish permanent roots in Hong Kong, with its population of 7.155 million and GDP of $351.119 billion.
