The Ontario Home Builders’ Association awards

Look out, fellow builders. Toronto developer Great Gulf has raised the real estate bar after receiving a slew of nominations and awards from The Ontario Home Builders’ Association (OHBA).

Great Gulf was recognized at the Awards of Distinction ceremony held at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls. The developer raked in four awards and even scored project of the year.

The prestigious low-rise project of the year award was granted to the King Oaks housing project in the York Region. We’re not surprised, considering the 75 home site is located on the protected 470,000 acre land of Oak Ridges Moraine.

The Ascot, a two-storey detached home style within King Oaks, received the Most Outstanding Production Built Home award, for two storeys 2501 square feet and over.

In order for a development to be this successful, however, it must be backed by well-considered campaigns and online promotion. Great Gulf was praised for its tech-savvy website design on Yonge + Rich, the high-rise condo project in Toronto. It also received an award for the Best High or Mid-Rise Ad Campaign for Pace, a high-rise project under construction in Toronto.

Congrats, Great Gulf!
