The forecast calls for two new buildings at 56 and 244 Frost Street in Williamsburg.
56 Frost, located between Lorimer and Leonard streets, will spring forth a four-story, nine-unit project. DJLU Architect will design the building, which will have 6,048 square feet of residential space, according to the plan exam application filed October 8th. The developer is 56 Frost Realty LLC, although we were really hoping for a pun there.
Meanwhile, four blocks down the street and across the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, 244 Frost will get a four-story, five-unit building. Located between Humboldt Street and Woodpoint Road, the property will be designed by Issac and Stern Architects, according to teh plan exam application filed October 11th.
The property traded last month for $1.1 million, according to public records. The developer is Belvedere Bridge Enterprises, which has two offices in Greenpoint and Maspeth, Queens.
Another Belvedere project in the area is 184 Frost Street, or Belvedere XLVI. Units in the elevator building feature white oak flooring, small balconies, soaking jetted tubs in the bathroom, washer/dryer hook-up and private storage, according to the developer’s website. A one-bedroom rental at 184 Frost Street was listed at $2,500 per month.
