the station 6There was a distinctly wintry chill in the air on our latest visit to The Station at Wilson and Tippet Road in north Toronto, but despite the cooler weather, the construction crew was carrying on their work with expert precision and vigor.

The crew has made significant progress since our visit last month, with the east tower beginning to rise above grade and the west tower now several levels above grade.

Two cranes are still working in full swing at The Station, as the site is too large for a single crane to reach all corners. That’s what happens when you have two 14 storey towers containing 388 units in the works.

Clearly the team has made a lot of progress since the summer months — check out our Dig to Done edition from June when the first basement slab had just been formed.
