If you’re a fan of colonial architecture, then take note of Canterbury Lawrence Park in Toronto. Now that construction is nearly complete, the new townhouse development’s Georgian-style facade has finally surfaced!
The high-end stone and clay brick exteriors are capped off with rooftop terraces that overlook the picturesque Stratford Park. The elegant architecture also fits in well with the neighbourhood, which is peppered with luxury houses, gourmet restaurants and reputable schools.
The project by Tribute Communities is located at 2130 Bayview Avenue, and homeowners will be able to move in starting early 2014.
We dropped by the construction site to take a peek at the development’s progress. We’ll let the images do the talking now:
How’s that for Old English-style living? The exterior finishes aren’t the only noteworthy features. Canterbury will also house a large underground parking space that provides direct access to the homeowner’s unit. Step inside the unit and you’ll be greeted by oak veneer staircases and stainless steel appliances. Each three-storey townhome also comes with its own rooftop terrace.
The project is 80 per cent sold, and sales for available units start at $766,990. The townhouses range in size from 1650 to 2076 square feet.
