If you missed ArtHouse Condos’ grand opening last month, you can still celebrate the official opening to the public with Flato Developments at its ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 19th. Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti and Councillor Carolina Moretti will even be on site to mark the occasion.

Whether you’re a homebuyer or local resident, all are welcome to join the festivities. So come out around noon and sip on light refreshments as a salute to the latest (and arguably trendiest) condo development in Markham.

ArtHouse, located on Markham Road near 16th Avenue, boasts art-inspired amenities to get those creative juices flowing. We’re talking a digital arts centre to hone your photography skills, a separate artist’s studio and culinary arts room. It’s probably time to stock up on art supplies.

The neighbourhood’s amenities also speak to the artistic flair of the building. Catch your favourite band at the Flato Markham Theatre or visit the Varley Art Gallery, which even has an exhibit devoted to F.H. Varley, a member of the Group of Seven.

Whether you’re craving sushi or a fine Italian meal, the variety of nearby restaurants will ensure you don’t go hungry. Feel like wearing the chef’s hat instead? Whole Foods Market is minutes away, along with other popular grocery stores and markets.
