The seven-story development has 25 one- to six-bedroom residences, including five penthouses and four townhouses. Each townhome is equipped with a private, direct-entry garage. The project will be a mix of restored 19th-century architecture by Calvert Vaux of Central Park design fame and new construction by Ed Rawlings of Rawlings Architects. Interiors are by Eric Cohler, and the landscapes were created by Edmund Hollander.
Pricing starts at approximately $3 million and goes up to $15 million-plus, according to the teaser site. Interiors have 16-foot ceilings, white oak flooring, Molteni kitchens and Carrara marble bathroom floors. Residents enter through a garden courtyard, and over half of the units will have their own private gardens or roofop terraces.
Amenities include a 24-hour doorman and private parking. Douglas Elliman is marketing the property, and sales will launch in early 2014.
