150 East 72nd living-room-2 770

Upper East Side conversion 150 East 72nd Street has gotten the offering-plan OK by the New York State Office of the Attorney General.

The development by Macklowe Properties has reached over $100 million in sales. Redesigned by Handel Architects and Moed de Armas & Shannon, the 100-year-old building offers two- to four-bedroom residences ranging from 2,300 square feet to 4,500 square feet.

There are just two apartments per floor, and condos have private elevator landings. Interiors include solid white oak floors, new windows, 10-foot ceilings, central air conditioning and custom Poliform closets. The eat-in kitchens feature large slab marble countertops and backsplashes, custom wood cabinetry and Miele appliances. Master bathrooms are fitted with a freestanding bathtub, custom vanities and marble slab floors, walls and countertops.

As for amenities, residents get a gym, children’s playroom and multipurpose room available for hosting dinners and events.

The building’s recent sales include Penthouse South, a $10 million three-bedroom unit measuring 2,461 square feet.
