Solstice Condos exterior rendering

Toronto condos might not be flying off the shelf like they used to be, but Solstice Condos by HIP Developments in Guelph has managed to defy the odds. After launching sales in July, the project sold 80 per cent of their investment condos in six weeks, so it’s no surprise the units are nearly sold out.

The condos remain reasonably priced at $300 per square foot. Plus, the new project is offering a free package to those who buy in the first year. Interested? The package includes a rental guarantee up to $27,000 and multiple property management services.

Solstice is located in Guelph’s popular South-End area, which is the University of Guelph’s main off-campus student housing hub. Once constructed, the building will be hard to miss. You’ll be struck by its modern red and mustard colour-blocked design, which is inspired by the work of renowned artist Piet Mondrian. How’s that for boosting student creativity throughout the year?

With more than 20,000 students enrolled at U of G, the numbers continue to rise. We predict young renters will soon be flocking to this new development.

HIP Developments plans to begin construction at the end of 2013. For a more detailed look at the new development, check out our past coverage here.
