The Related Group’s SLS Brickell condo-hotel is virtually, basically, almost literally sold out.
The 450-unit, 51-story project at 1300 South Miami Avenue is scheduled for completion in 2015. Except for several penthouses, all the residences in the $300 million joint venture between Related and hospitality firm sbe are in contract, The Miami Herald reported.
Related founder and chairman Jorge Pérez told The Miami Herald that the units sold for more than $500 a square foot. “I wish we had another 100 units to sell,” he said.
Arquitectonica is designing the building, and Philippe Starck is doing the interiors. The SLS hotel will occupy the first through ninth floors. The apartments will start on the 10th floor, with approximately 11 units per level. Unit sizes range from 717 square feet to 1,505 square feet. Amenities include a concierge, valet, gym, party room, screening room, private spa, 200-foot-long pool, lounge, 3,000-square-foot business center with private meeting rooms and residents-only rooftop pool. Every unit also comes with a parking space.
Los Angeles-based sbe will manage services for residents. Construction is anticipated to start at the end of 2013.
