One Madison, that skinny, 60-story white whale by Related Companies, HFZ Capital and CIM Group, has finally launched sales.
The Cetra/Ruddy-designed tower at 23 East 22nd Street features 53 one- to five-bedroom condominium residences. Pricing for the three- to four-bedroom full-floor apartments starts at $10.5 million.
The triplex penthouse, which offers 6,850 square feet of living space, is asking $50 million, according to the official site. The residence, which occupies the 58th to 60th floors, has full-height windows, a double-height great room with an appropriately grandiose circular staircase, a 586-square-foot wraparound terrace and a private internal elevator.
Buyers have a choice of interior finishes in two signature palettes. The Yabu Pushelberg-designed interiors have herringbone solid oak floors, bronze accented millwork kitchens with honed Calacatta marble countertops and backsplash and marble master and secondary bathrooms.
Meanwhile, the “Modernist-style” residences by Cetra/Ruddy have wide plank solid white oak flooring and kitchens fitted in “satin-rubbed Indian Laurel veneer” and Calacatta marble countertops. Bathrooms feature stone surfaces, from Italian travertine to Thala Grey marbles.
Amenities include a 24-hour doorman, concierge, lounge, screening room, dining room with catering kitchen and butler service, 50-foot indoor pool with marble walls, gym, yoga room, “sculptural glass-enclosed steam room” and children’s playroom.
One Madison is being co-developed by Related Companies and HFZ Capital Group, in partnership with CIM Group and the Related Real Estate Recovery Fund. Occupancy is slated for early 2014.
