21 W 20th Flatiron signage

Verdant signage is up for Flatiron’s 21 West 20th Street, which did a quadruple penthouse twist with the release of its official site last week.

The 12-unit Gale International project will be designed by Beyer Blinder Belle, with MR Architecture + Decor doing the interiors. The 15-story building starts with “tower homes” from the second to tenth floors, each measuring 1,302 square feet.

Then, the development beasts out with four full-floor penthouses, ranging from 2,710 square feet to 4,841 square feet. These magnificent non-living creatures spout terraces from 525 square feet to 1,438 square feet, for that indoor/outdoor sensation.

The project is scheduled to finish in early 2015. Until then, have this other shot below of the green ‘n blue construction netting, which really brings out the color of the building’s eyes. Remember when 345 Meatpacking had its snakes-ahoy construction netting by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama? We’re beginning to sense a little “Garden of Eden” theme here…
