72 poplar The teaser site is up for 72 Poplar Street, a boutique conversion that’s sprouting in Brooklyn Heights.

Formerly a police station, the landmarked brick-facade building will have 14 two- to five-bedroom condos, according to the official site. The project by The Daten Group is set to open this fall. The residences include a maisonette and a townhouse; pricing will range from approximately $1.5 million to over $4 million.

The Daten Group acquired the property in May 2011, according to the developer’s site. In June 2012, the Landmarks Preservation Commission approved plans for the construction of two more stories on top of the existing three-story building.
