2013_06_17_12_40_17_mondecondos_rendering Film buffs and boat aficionados are set to come together at the Sail-in Cinema at the Toronto Harbourfront this week.

The Sail-in Cinema will feature the world’s first two-sided floating movie screen, allowing movie lovers to pull up their boats to view the flick or watch from Sugar Beach.

The Sail-in Cinema takes place from August 15-17 and will be screening classics such as Ghostbusters, The Princess Bride and Back to the Future.

The event kicks off at 6pm every night and each movie will begin at dusk.

Great Gulf, whose new project Monde is turning heads at Toronto’s waterfront, is one of the sponsors of the one-of-a-kind event.

Designed by Quadrangle Architects Ltd. and Moshe Safdie Architects, Monde will be a unique 40 storey addition to Toronto’s skyline.

The project features balconies that project out from the building, and an outdoor lounge that includes a fire pit, dining area, and a pool for residents and their guests to enjoy.

Units range in size from 483 square feet to 1655 square feet, with prices starting at $292,990.

Surrounded by some of downtown Toronto’s best amenities and activities, Monde offers beautiful views of the lake and Toronto’s growing cityscape.

The Sail-in Cinema is an ideal time to see what the area has to offer. If you like what you see, you just might find yourself calling up the Monde sales centre next week.
