Halcyon living room

Midtown East’s Halcyon has finally released interior residence renderings on the official site, and we’re having an eminently sophisticated freakout.

The 32-story, 123-unit development by HFZ Capital has studio to four-bedroom condominiums. Located at 305 East 51st Street, the glass and limestone building was designed by SLCE Architects. Pricing for available units ranges from $1.26 million to $4.71 million.

We’ve already reported on the renderings for the extensive amenities, which include a doorman, concierge, courtyard, 50-foot indoor pool with spa and sauna, fitness center with private training rooms, library, parking, playroom and lounge with catering kitchen.

However, now it’s all about the residence interiors. First up, the Poliform-designed kitchens, which are bathed in warm, neutral hues, Calacatta marble and lacquered cabinetry:

Next, the bathrooms, done up in oversized white statuary marble tiles edged with brushed bronze, marble countertops and brushed bronze fixtures:

And now, we talk about penthouses — there are two of these “townhouses in the sky,” which have expansive entertaining space, private terraces, wood-burning fireplaces and views of the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building. Other details include a “sculptural balustrade” and “sensuous marble hearth” that are “luxurious enough to beckon, yet quiet enough to let the skyline shine,” according to interior designer S. Russell Groves. Here’s a glimpse of those private terraces:

Occupancy is slated for early 2015.
