We did a construction update on Soho’s 27 Wooster Street, a project by The Stawski Group.
Located on the corner of Grand Street, the 16-unit, eight-story development was designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox as a counterpoint to the cast-iron architecture of the 19th-century landmark district.
The ground floor sits on granite and steel, with street-level retail and a private 10-car parking garage, according to the architect’s site. The building will have a “vertical expression of continuous, operable glazed window units” and ribbons of perforated metal panels, grey granites, glass railings and aluminum/glass lights, like so:
The building will be capped by a duplex penthouse with a wraparound stone terrace and private swimming pool.
