UNstudio-yongjia-world-trade-center-china-designboom02 World-renowned architecture firm UNStudio has been chosen to design the Yongjia World Trade Centre in China.

The Amsterdam-based firm won a competition to design the new mixed-use community in the riverfront city of Wenzhou. Located in the Oubei Sanjiang region in Yongjia, the site is slated to become an integrated, functional area with businesses, homes, tourism services, as well as leisure and entertainment spaces.

Five towers are planned for the development ranging in size from 287 metres to 146 metres tall, all with a completely unique design!

Connecting the city to the waterfront, the buildings will have tray-like compositions mixing urban flare with green spaces such as sky gardens.

We can’t get enough of the renderings below. Check them out!
