Last week we brought you the first half of our talk with Jennifer Keesmaat, the Chief Planner of Toronto. We got into what her job is all about, some of the biggest planning priorities in the city, and the always contentious topic of whether or not development charges should be raised.

Part 2 of our talk is all about the future. In light of the record-breaking storm that hit the city earlier this month, we wanted to know what Toronto can do to prevent massive damage should another deluge take the city by surprise. We talked infrastructure issues, planning for multi-modal cities and how to attract the important 18-34 cohort to the city.
