Brazilian executive Neneto Camargo just bought a $5 million condo at Hadid’s One Thousand Museum project in downtown Miami. São Paulo-based Camargo told The Miami Herald that he expects to close soon on the 25th-floor apartment located at 1000 Biscayne Boulevard.
The 83-unit, 62-story project has units ranging from 5,400 square feet to 11,000 square feet. Pricing starts at $4.5 million. Gregg Covin and Louis Birdman are the developers; ONE Sotheby’s International Realty is marketing the building.
One reason Camargo is buying a One Thousand Museum pad, aside from the elegantly bony design, two-level pool and rooftop helipad? Cheaper pizza.
The price of a cheese pizza in São Paulo is $30, Camargo told The Miami Herald. “In Miami, you pay $10 or $12 for that pizza.’’
So there you have it. And with that rooftop helipad, bulk deliveries are a snap.
