Dubbed “Live Camden”, the two-day event will see the 11 storey, recently completed building opened up to visitors who will be invited to enjoy pop-up experiences curated by local businesses as they tour the condo.
32 Camden is located on a quiet, exclusive side street in Toronto’s core, so you know some intriguing local shops, cafes and restaurants will be on hand to provide a unique experience for all those in attendance.
The fun starts at noon on both Saturday and Sunday. Guests will be given a Live Camden Neighbourhood Passport when they arrive. The passport will serve as a guide through the pop-ups and various furnished model suites.
There are tons of great local businesses participating, including La Merceria, Sanagan’s Meat Locker, Valdez, The Chickery, The Detox Market, Strivelife, Toronto Flower Market, Steamwhistle Brewery and Kops Records. Taxi service extraordinaire Uber will be providing complimentary black car service to the event. Need something to sip on? Tequila Tromba and Vitamin Water are the beverage partners for the event.
Toronto indie rock legend Brendan Canning of Broken Social Scene will also be at 32 Camden on Saturday and Sunday spinning some of his favourites as a special guest of Kops Records.
Guests won’t want to throw out their passports after the event as they’ll be able to use them for special offers at the participating local businesses. One purchaser at 32 Camden will also win a $2,000 tab to spend in the neighbourhood courtesy of Sorbara and the participants.

“This is something that no other developer has done before,” adds Jeanhy Shim, President at Housing Lab Toronto, the marketing group that created the concept for the event. “We felt the local neighbourhood is such a strong selling feature, that in addition to showing our building and model suites, we should try to give people a real snap shot of what living the Camden lifestyle is all about, rather than just telling them about it in a glossy brochure. I’m very excited that Sorbara has embraced this new way of engaging with consumers through experiential marketing.”
