The 11-story, 9-unit project will be designed by Bromley Caldari Architects, according to this permit filed July 19th. With 48,302 square feet of residential space for just nine homes, the full-floor units are going to be huge. The top two floors will be occupied by a duplex apartment.
The developer is Rigby Asset Management. No renderings yet for the project, although we did find conceptual images from the site of GreenbergFarrow, which was approached to design the conversion.
The firm’s 27-unit, 50,000-square-foot proposal had “human-sized apertures at the streetwall and a transparent and airy aesthetic on the added setback floors.” The GreenbergFarrow plans also involved re-cladding the building with a rainscreen system and adding a rooftop amenity space.
