Developer Tien Sher has just launched a new mortgage subsidy program for their Balance micro-suite project. The program is pretty simple: Buy one of the remaining Balance homes — but hurry because they’re going fast — and Tien Sher will take care of half of the mortgage for 12 months.
With homes that start at just $119,900, the mortgage subsidy program makes it possible to own at Balance for as little as $217 per month — less than most monthly car payments. And at Balance it’s easy to get around the Lower Mainland without a car as the development is located within walking distance to rapid transit and comes with an onsite Modo car share.
Surrey has been deemed as Canada’s fastest growing city and Balance is located in the heart of it. Residents will be within close proximity to shopping, restaurants, pubs, parks, Simon Fraser University, Surrey’s new public library, the Centre of Performing Arts and the revamped Chuck Bailey Recreation Centre.
The four-storey, 56-home project is slated for completion in 2014. See what the development has to offer in-person by visiting the discovery centre at #114 – 10768 Whalley Boulevard in Surrey, open Saturday through Thursday from 12pm to 5pm.
