Google Street View continues to expand its virtual horizons, today unveiling its first ever tour of a skyscraper, the subject of which is the world’s tallest, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa.
“The imagery was collected over three days using the Street View Trekker and Trolley, capturing high-resolution 360-degree panoramic imagery of several indoor and outdoor locations of the building,” Google explains.
The online tour allows you to enjoy the tower’s dizzying views — from vantages that include a window-cleaner’s scaffold on the 73rd floor — all from the comfort and safety of your grounded office chair. Check it out.
