SOLO district social media

To celebrate the launch of what will become Burnaby’s tallest tower, Altus, developer Appia is launching a social media contest.

It works like this: A Google Map pin will be “hidden” at the SOLO District sales centre from June 15th through July 31st. To enter, all you have to do is visit the sales centre — located at 2131 Willingdon Avenue in Burnaby — snap a photo of the “pin” and share it on either Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #SOLOPin. Up for grabs are four $100 gift cards to Brown’s Social House and Joey Restaurants. The winners will be announced the week after the contest closes on July 31st.

Altus, of course, is part of Appia’s master-planned SOLO District community, and at 55-storeys, promises to be a major Metro Vancouver landmark. Pricing starts at just $293,900 with suites ranging from 516-square-foot one-bedrooms to 1,709-square-foot three bedroom penthouses.

Besides the project’s incredible scope, it’s also notable for amazing onsite amenities, which will include the rooftop “Club 55” (pictured above), a luxurious indoor-outdoor clubhouse offering more than 5,000-square-feet of recreational space.

To be one of the first entrants into the social media contest be sure to attend the public preview on Saturday, June 15th starting at noon at 2131 Willingdon Avenue in Burnaby.
