monde Great Gulf held an event on June 22nd to release a collection of 140 nature inspired “Boardwalk Suites” at Toronto’s highly anticipated Monde.

The new suites embody a waterfront lifestyle and are designed with nature, the lake and the city in mind. World-renowned architect Moshe Safdie designed all of Monde’s suites, which offer amazing views of Toronto and Lake Ontario.

Safdie created an architectural frame for the 40 storey development where nature can be viewed and experienced in the home, blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor life.

The new Boardwalk Suites are designed to be wide and shallow to optimize space and natural light.

Senior Vice President for High Rise at Great Gulf, Alan Vihant, said the company is leading the way for residential development on Toronto’s eastern waterfront.

“Within walking distance of downtown, Monde is uniquely situated in an urban setting that has a direct connection with nature by being steps away from Lake Ontario and all that the new blue edge has to offer,” said Vihant. “Residents can enjoy resort-inspired amenities at the condo, indulge in the neighborhood restaurants and cafes or take a relaxing stroll on the lake shore boardwalk.”

Located north of Queens Quay, Monde is the first private sector development in East Bayfront, a new community defined by extraordinary design. Surrounded by award winning parks and public spaces, as well as sustainable development and cutting edge telecommunications infrastructure, Waterfront Toronto’s “new blue edge” is the largest urban renewal project in North America.

Monde is a great place for urban nature lovers to call home and be a part of Toronto’s changing waterfront.
