Related is partnering with Strategic Properties Group on the development, which will be designed by Cohen Freedman Encinosa. In 2012, Related bought the stalled project, formerly known as Unika, for less than $20 per square foot, Curbed reported.
The development gets its name from design firm Baltus, whose “sophisticated and contemporary design approach makes the perfect complement for the elegant curved lines of the project,” according to Related CEO and chairman Jorge M. Pérez in a brochure leaked on exMiami. The homes will have floor-to-ceiling windows, oversized balconies and gourmet exhibition kitchens with European cabinetry and natural stone countertops.
Amenities include a bay-view gym, media room and a seventh-floor pool lounge with cabanas, chaises and a 55-foot-long infinity-edge pool overlooking Biscayne Bay. The property will feature artwork by Barcelona-based Lluís Barba and a garage mural by Venezuelan artist Jaime Gili.
