The five-story Italianate-style building at the corner of Thomas Street is the lone survivor of the “Thomas Twins,” two identical commercial structures that went up at 317 and 319 Broadway in 1869.
The most recent permit for the property was filed June 5th. The original architect was D & A Jardine, and the building, which retains most of its 19th-century appearance, was landmarked in 1989.
