Consider the project’s impressive track record: not only was it the best-selling community in the GTA in 2012, but last year’s Phase 1 launch saw more than 700 homes sold within the first few weeks. Naturally, we expected great things of the second launch and the preview event did not disappoint!
On May 25th at 11 am, the preview opening of the second phase was met with equal success and enthusiasm.
More than 2,500 house hunters registered to attend the opening, 180 of whom actually camped overnight to make sure they were first in line! A total of 204 homes sold during the Phase 2 preview on Saturday and Sunday.
New for Phase 2 was the line of 13’ urban townhouses, priced from the low $400,000s. These proved especially popular with the younger buyers during the weekend event.
Homes range from the high $400,000ss to the low $800,000s. “The New U” offers a variety of layouts including 34’, 38’ and 42’ singles, 25’ and 28’ semis-detached homes and 20’ freehold lane townhomes and 25’ townhomes.
Phase 2 still has a number of properties to choose from, with limited opportunities to purchase one of the select Phase 1 inventory homes that will be available for occupancy later this year.
Upper Unionville is an ambitious 1,700-home project spearheaded by s Paradise Homes, Arista Homes, Starlane Homes and Fieldgate Homes. Situated at Kennedy Road and 16th Avenue, the community is just minutes from the historic Main Street of Unionville, which features shops, restaurants and plenty of opportunities for entertainment.
The area is also home to top-notch schools, countless green spaces and golf courses. Major highways are also a short drive away and the Go Transit hub can connect commuters to just about anywhere they hope to go in the GTA.
