A mixed-use residential building by Izaki Group Investments USA is in the works for 155 West 18th Street in Chelsea.
We spotted a plan exam application filed last week for an 11-story, 30-unit building between 6th and 7th avenues, with ODA Architecture as the design firm of record. The site for Izaki Group Investments USA says that the building will consist of two, three and four-bedroom apartments, with “classy finishes and high-quality craftsmanship.” There will be 8,000 square feet of retail, a 24-hour doorman, private parking, gym, common backyard and a “dramatic lobby.”
According to public records, IGI (or “IGI 155 W18 LLC,” as listed in the May plan exam filing) purchased the site for $16.6 million in November 2012.
