King Blue Condos has already earned a reputation for going big. The two 44 and 48-storey towers will be big, their design ambitions are big and now, with their grand opening gearing up, they’ve attracted a big name in sports to the event celebrating the milestone.
On Saturday April 6th, Easton’s Group of Hotels will be hosting the opening at the future location of the skyscrapers, 355 King St. W. (near Blue Jays Way). And from 1 to 3:30 pm, you will have the chance to meet Wendel Clark, the legendary Maple Leaf.
Aside from the opportunity to meet the hockey great, King Blue has a whole host of other extras in store for the opening.
For a limited time, buyers can take advantage of $5,000 cash back on studio suites, $7,500 cash back for 1-bedroom and 1-bedroom plus den, and $12,000 back on 2-bedroom and 2-bedroom plus den units.
The suites range from 400-square feet to 1335-square feet and available units start from the mid-$200,000s. The ambitious, 807-unit project is a dazzling downtown project by Easton’s Group, a developer with loads of experience in the hotel and hospitality industry.
His daughter Reetu is also involved in the project and is aiming to help turn the Entertainment District into a “mini-Yorkville” by integrated high-end retail into the towers as well.
Inspired by luxury hotels, the amenities are resort-style. A 5,800 square foot rooftop patio graces the tower and there’s a pool on the sixth floor, a top notch fitness centre, yoga room, lounge and much more.
As far as location’s concerned, it’s hard to beat such as central address. The financial district is walking distance and the condos are surrounded by a wealth of eating and entertainment options.
Hockey fans who are coming to the opening to see the famous former Maple Leaf should note that the Air Canada Centre is just a short walk south of King Blue.
And with Wayne Gretzy’s sports bar just steps away from the development, we can’t help but wonder if Clark’ll drop in for nachos. (We might be waiting there to find out).
