Situated at the corner of Eglinton and Avenue Road, The Condo Mall is offering purchasers more choice in one place, hosting projects by major developers like Tridel, Monarch, Burnac, RioCan and Bazis. It acts as a satellite sales centre for these projects and is staffed by Royal LePage agents who work with each development’s sales team.
“We have a designated in-house sales manager for each project which works directly with the sales team at the condo site,” says Adam Sax, Director of Business Development at Royal LePage West Realty Group.
“Our team is trained by the developer in addition to weekly in-house training. All the information being presented to the end user is 100 per cent consistent with the information being presented by the developers own sales team.”
Sax is the originator of the Condo Mall concept and wants to bring the concept to cities across Canada, first by opening satellite Condo Malls within the GTA.
The Condo Mall brings several benefits to developers and purchasers alike Sax explains.
“Developers get to market their projects in one of Toronto’s most influential neighborhoods [Eglinton and Avenue Road] with a huge amount of visibility and exposure,” he says.
“Due to the fact that we have a number of different projects in one space,” he continues, “we are able to reach a much larger audience which in some cases had no idea about one or more of the projects.”
“We also host seminars for each of our projects each with their own theme. Our centre is open seven days a week and developers get to take advantage of our extensive marketing campaigns.”
It’s still early days yet, but Sax says reception has already been very positive from both builders and buyers. And as far as expansion goes?
“We feel Oakville would be a great place to start,” he explains. “Buyers there will not only be able to shop but purchase an assortment of different city projects right from their own backyard.”
