Adding to downtown Calgary’s West End skyline for the first time in nearly a decade, Grosvenor Americas and Cressey Development Group recently announced plans for a new, two-tower residential development.
The two contemporary towers were designed by renowned architect James Cheng. The iconic structures will be located on one of the few remaining pieces of land in Calgary’s West End and will boast functional, spacious interiors and views of the Bow River, Rocky Mountains and the city.
“The partnership is a strategic match,” Grosvenor vice president of development Michael Ward stated in a news release. “In developing one of the final parcels of land in this established downtown Calgary neighbourhood we set out to create a best in class development. Grosvenor and Cressey’s proven track record of superior design and longstanding history of building quality homes will bring a truly unique product to the area.”
Avenue’s two towers will be 24 and 18-storeys tall, respectively, with a total of 319 homes. Floorplans will range in size from 600 to 1,800-square-feet and will include one-bedroom homes, one-bedroom plus den homes, two-bedroom homes, executive penthouses and two-storey city homes.
The Avenue sales centre and display suites at the corner of 5th Avenue SW and 10th Street SW will be open for viewing later this spring — the same time as the sales launch. In the meantime, you can register for the project here.
