How’s this for Upper East Side moneyed realness: HFZ Capital’s The Marquand at 11 East 68th Street is offering condos starting at about $15 million.
The Beaux-Arts Revival building, which dates to 1913, is located between Fifth and Madison avenues. The 105,000-square-foot rental was restored and modernized by architectural firms Shelton, Mindel & Associates and Beyer Blinder Belle Architects. The 12-story building has two separate wings. That’s a total of 40 four-to-six-bedroom units, which means that potentially 39 other residents get to laugh at the chump who only ponied up $15 million for his or her abode.
The apartments will have custom kitchens, new hardwood flooring, marble bathrooms and stone countertops, according to HFZ’s site.
Amenities include white-glove doorman and concierge service, kids lounge, fitness center, storage rooms available for purchase and a live-in resident manager.
