We’re big fans of outside-the-car thinking for commuting (gondolas? Check), so naturally we had to share this video of two daredevils swooping into central Rio de Janeiro like bats out of hell.

Ludovic Woerth and Jokke Sommer donned wingsuits, hopped off ultralight airplanes and flew into Rio de Janeiro, whooshing through a frighteningly narrow space between two towers.

The two didn’t have permission to fly into the city, but to “respect the commercial air traffic,” they did the jump at 5:45am, before the first flights of the day arrived at 6:05am, according to the video description.

Witness the craziness for yourself; things get real at the 1:29 mark.
