The Portraits 2 Consider this vignette: you arrive home to your three-storey townhouse on a tree-lined street in a historic town. Your community is thoughtfully planned and quiet, an intimate space on a private cul-de-sac.

Branthaven Homes is making that sketch come to life with The Portraits in Waterdown, a 47-unit townhouse development in a town just minutes north of Burlington.

The heritage-inspired homes have drawn design cues from the local community, founded in the first half of the 19th century. The elevations are available in warm clay brick colours such as red, brown, sand and taupe, and come edged with rustic stone skirting.

In spite of this nod to the past, The Portraits are fully modern. It’s all in the details: the electric fireplaces are available with marble, slate or ceramic surround; the non-sliding windows retain heat in winter and protect your interiors from UV rays; and the closets come equipped with wire mesh shelving and easy glide systems to help you stay organized.

The new development has already piqued the interest of publications such as New Homes and Condos. Keep an eye out for them in other Hamilton Region-based media outlets – coverage of the new development is just gearing up.

Available townhouses range from $329,990 to $372,990. They’re sized from 1,655 to 1,780-square feet.
