The historic Round Room at The Carlu was packed with brokers keen for new info on 365 Church, the 29-storey condo Menkes Developments is undertaking at the corner of Church and McGill streets in Toronto.
An illuminated scale model of the new tower took centre stage at the special VIP event, though floor plans and renderings were also at hand.
Alan Menkes, the President of the High-Rise Residential Division at Menkes, and Hunter Milborne of Milborne Real Estate Inc. spoke about the project, its home in the dynamic downtown of the city and the state of Toronto’s housing market.
Though the condo will be steps away from the Yonge subway line, the Eaton Centre, Allan Gardens and plenty of options for groceries, dining and entertainment, Menkes also noted the development’s proximity to Ryerson University.
The perennially popular university counts roughly 26,000 undergraduate and 2,300 graduate students enrolled in classes; both staff and students are always on the lookout for housing options close to the school.
Designed by Wallman Architects, 365 Church will feature a fitness centre with a fully equipped cardio and weight room, plus a yoga studio, a rooftop terrace with barbecues, a gamer-friendly media room with a large screen TV, a party room, and more.
