The condo curious can get their answers at a lunch and learn on Saturday March 23rd at the Atrium Convention Centre in Burlington. From 12 to 2pm, a panel of six industry experts will speak about Burlington’s burgeoning development scene, how to navigate the purchasing process and how to maximize your return on investment.
Attendees of the Condo Connect 2013 event will also get the low-down on new projects before the general public and other agents.
One of the well-known members of the panel will be Tariq Adi, CEO of ADI Development. Adi has had his hand in a number of international design projects across the globe and has lived in several different countries as well. But right now his main focus is Burlington, his home for more than a decade, and the site of many well-regarded new developments.
Adi will be speaking about how to make the right investment and why now is the time to do it. As the force behind The Mod’rn Condominium (it made our list of the most popular projects in Ontario in 2012), ADI Development has raised the bar for Burlington condos.
The urbane project is design-focused and has fans among young singles to empty nesters alike. The unique exterior features dark iron spot brick and natural stone. And the wood canopy framing the boutique entrance creates a sense of drama.
Though the style is urban, the four-storey building opens up to the fresh air of the Halton region thanks to the rooftop lounge with views of Lake Ontario. Complete with cozy fireplaces and barbeques, the roof is the prefect spot for outdoor dining.
The outdoors are similarly integrated into the suites themselves: each unit has a balcony and ground floor residences have walk out patios. And inside there’s a contemporary lobby plus private entertainment space for parties and dining.
Located at 1284 Guelph Line, The Mod’rn will be close to the Burlington waterfront, countless trails and parks, two Go Trains stations and a Via Rail station too.
Available units start in the mid $200,000s.
