72-Poplar-Color-RenderingThe Daten Group has revealed pricing and more details for 72 Poplar Street, a luxury conversion of a former police station house in Brooklyn Heights.

The 14-unit condominium will offer two-, three- and four-bedroom units starting at $1,000 per square foot. The developers secured approval from the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission to add two stories to the main building and one floor to the separate garage.

The main building was carved into 13 apartments with high ceilings, wood floors, custom kitchens and open floor plans; the free-standing garage was transformed into a duplex townhouse with a private garden, a roof deck and naturally, a one-story garage.

Sales are scheduled to launch this fall, with occupancy for the spring of 2014. Gregory Williamson and Rob Gross of Douglas Elliman will be handling sales, according to Real Estate Weekly.
