It’s no secret that Fairground Lofts in Old Woodbridge Village in Vaughan is a crowd-pleasing development. We recently named the Wycliffe Homes undertaking one of the most popular developments in Ontario for 2012.
And, judging by the crowd that showed up at their presentation centre last month, their informative seminars are proving to be just as popular. Despite the cold, a large number of purchasers and their guests came out to the presentation on January 22nd to learn about everything from design to mortgages to property values.
The “Evening of Inspiration” proved to be a illuminating event thanks to a series of guest experts. Liane Mitchell, the Lead Designer at Suite 22 Interiors, was on hand to share tips on amping up the style of your suite, whether it be one of the development’s houses, condos or townhouses. Mitchell has collaborated with Wycliffe Homes in the past, sprucing up a model suite of Fairground Lofts in Old Woodbridge Village with a dose of urban chic.
For the nitty-gritty finance issues, TD Bank Mortgage Specialist Vivian Favret shared practical advice on obtaining a mortgage and Brian Ellis, a real estate expert and President with New Home Sales & Marketing Group, discussed home value trends in Woodbridge.
But the night wasn’t just devoted solely to instruction. Wycliffe also announced a number of fun incentives. New buyers will be given a $15,000 cash-back on closing and the choice of either a $5,000 gift card for Suite 22 or $5,000 toward upgrades at the Wycliffe Design Studio. Suite 22 will also give new buyers an extra 20 per cent off of anything they spend should they go over the $5,000 gift card amount. Plus, the developer’s “Make Your Friend A Neighbour” program awards a $1,500 cashback bonus toward purchases at Suite 22 or toward selections at the Wycliffe Design Studio for both the purchaser and referrer.
The project is conveniently located next to the Woodbridge Fairgrounds and Market Lane Shopping Centre and is right by highways and GO Stations. And downtown Toronto will soon be just a short subway ride away once the new line finishes. The community’s single- and multi-storey suites will make up a unique blend of densities and old and new architecture. Prices start in the high $200,000s.
