Thanks to their dedication to urban redevelopment and revitalization, Samcon was recognized for their work in Montreal. Shortlisted in four separate categories, they took home the Domus prize for 2012 Builder of the Year from L’Association provinciale des constructeurs d’habitations du Québec (APCHQ).
Samcon was feted at the APCHQ gala on February 9th. But the builder is no stranger to such accolades: this is the fourth time they’ve collected the prestigious award. The builder was also a finalist in three other Domus prize categories for 2012: the Buyer’s choice/Customer service (50 units and more) award; the Project and/or residential development of the year (multifamily) prize; and the award for new housing unit from more than $250,000 and less than $500,000.
Now in its 30th year, the Domus prize is crafted from Appalachian granite to symbolize the strength of modern housing. Congratulations to Samcon for adding yet another award to their trophy shelf!
