BuzzBuzzHome isn’t the only news source buzzing about Bosa Development’s Pacific Pt. condo conversion project in Yaletown. The 28-storey tower is currently undergoing a luxury makeover that, as the Vancouver Sun explains, will introduce the former rental units to the market as “spacious, stylish and inviting new homes.”
“People are getting used to living in smaller spaces, but this is bigger than most, and we thought ‘Let’s make it as usable as possible,'” Lisa Murrell, Bosa‘s sales and escrow manager, told the Sun. “We opened up as many walls as we could to try and encourage more of that open concept.”
The homes have floor-to-ceiling windows and almost every suite has a solarium, the Sun points out.
“…many suites were large enough to divide into additional rooms. Two of the show suites, for example, were converted from one bedroom to two, in both cases by carving an additional bedroom out of the living room,” the article continues.
Meanwhile, Vancity Buzz notes that a complete rental to condo renovation is something that has never been done on this scale in Vancouver.
“There just aren’t any buildings like new Pacific Pt. in downtown Vancouver anymore,”Bosa Development president Nat Bosa told Vancity Buzz. “Nowhere else will you get the unobstructed and protected views, space and amenities combined with new high-end finishings we are providing here.”
All 214 homes at the waterside address are expected to hit the market next month.
