Picasso Groundbreaking Team 2

It may be absolutely frigid outside, but ground at new development sites across Toronto still needs to be broken. Last week it was the Monarch team’s turn to brave the frosty weather and break ground on Picasso on Richmond, the 39 storey condo tower at Beverley and Richmond.

The folks from Monarch couldn’t turn the soil as the ground was completely frozen and covered in snow. Instead, they opted to lift their shovels triumphantly over their heads, which worked just as well.
