1:46pm UPDATE: Global Toronto reporter Jackson Proskow has tweeted that the falling glass struck a car driving down Adelaide. No injuries.
1:40pm UPDATE: CityNews writes that there are unconfirmed reports that the glass fell from the 37th floor.
No injuries have been reported after glass fell from Shangri-La Hotel at University and Adelaide Street in downtown Toronto around 12:10pm today. Toronto police have closed Adelaide Street at Simcoe according to a CP24 tweet.
This is the first incident where glass has fallen from a high-rise in downtown Toronto in 2013.
The most recent incident occurred in November 2012 when a pane of glass fell from Trump International Hotel & Tower at Bay and Adelaide.
