The developer behind One57 purchased the commercial building at 1683 Third Avenue for $3.2 million, as well as development and air rights in the vicinity for $7.7 million. The deal closed December 27th, according to city records.
The two lots are zoned for commercial use on the first and second floors, with residential zoning on the higher floors, according to The Real Deal. The properties on the two lots are multi-family buildings with at least six units, including retail.
Extell has yet to announce its plans for the property.
