Christmas has certainly come early for some new home buyers. Over the last few weeks, the BC Government has been sending out cheques to those who have already qualified for the First-Time Home Buyers’ Bonus, a one-time payment worth up to $10,000.
The Sequoia sales team knows all about the process and are more than happy to walk you through how you can get up to a $10,000 cheque in the mail.
But you’ll want to hurry if you plan on taking advantage of this deal because – besides the speed at which Sequoia is selling – one of the requirements to receive the bonus is that you need to move into your new home by April 1st, 2013.
How exactly does it work? Let’s take a look at Sequoia’s Home No. 63 as an example:
This three-bedroom, two-car garage home with a private, fenced-in backyard was originally listed at $336,900. The price has come down to $329,900, which includes net HST. Since the First-Time Home Buyers’ Bonus can get you a $10,000 cheque after you move in, the total savings for Sequoia‘s No. 63 home can total up to $17,000!
Visit the Sequoia sales centre at #1 – 14838 61st Ave in Surrey from 12 to 5pm everyday except Fridays.
