That type of small town feel might be less common today, but it’s still out there. Mayberry Hill, a new housing development in Grand Valley, promises to embody that tight-knit community feel.
Quiet and family-oriented, Mayberry Hill will be a place where neighbours know each other and the great outdoors are the major amenity. Residents will be able to hike on the Rail Trail, the former Canadian Pacific Railway lands now part of the trail system, which they’ll be able to take to Luther Marsh, a great spot for biking, bird watching and a slew of other great outdoor activities.
The community is a brief walk away from downtown Grand Valley, which hosts a variety of small family-run stores and restaurants.
Grand Valley is also only a short distance from Orangeville (in South Central Ontario) where residents will be able to find all the urban conveniences they need.
So far we’ve said a lot about the great area, but what about the homes at Mayberry Hill?
The first phase of the Thomasfield Homes community will consist of 99 single detached lots ranging from 36 to 45 feet. There will be 19 plans starting from 1,293 square feet going up to 2,385 square feet. Prices start from $289,900 and top off at $404,900.
The builder is known for its “what you see is what you get philosophy”. To Thomasfield, this means that the model homes, in their standard features and pricing, should speak for themselves and don’t need thousands of dollars in upgrades in order to sell. Now that’s a philosophy we can get behind…
Thomasfield does offer a premium package for Mayberry Hill for $26,000. It includes 9 foot ceilings, stone front with matching bricks on the sides, premium builder light package, an uber-cool smart wi-fi enabled Nest thermostat and more!
And, unlike most builders, architectural consultation is also included in the purchase price.
We’re liking what we’re seeing at Mayberry Hill. Check back for more buzz on the development soon!
