Last week we had the opportunity to take a suite tour at Portrait Condominiums, the new Norstar Group project at Bathurst and Sheppard. Portrait has been making waves across Toronto for its elegant aesthetic and top notch location. Only minutes away from the Yonge and University subway lines as well as the Allen Expressway and Highway 401, Portrait‘s location certainly sounds tough to match.

Norstar is currently offering 30-day closings and the chance to purchase with an initial deposit of 5 per cent. Not many new developments have an offer like this on the table, so Portrait is well worth checking out. But before you hop in your car or dash to the subway to get up there, check out our photos to get a real sense of what this project is all about.

We started off with a look at the scale model. The two mid-rise towers are complete and interior work and landscaping is nearly finished.

Residents will be able to take advantage of the fifth floor rooftop gardens and terraces.

We moved up into one of the furnished models within the building. Kitchens at Portrait feature stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and ceramic backsplashes.

Suites feature high ceilings and engineered wood floors.

Even with a king sized bed, the master bedroom still has plenty of space for movement and furniture.

Loving the way the den is put together.

We took a trip up to the fifth floor to scope out the view. At Portrait you won’t need to worry about your view being interrupted by a high-rise.

Even without furniture, this two bedroom suite looks quite majestic. An abundance of windows provide plenty of illumination and the suite features two outdoor terraces.
